Re: Quota warnings
The option is how much percentage of their quota they have left. So you would set it to 10% if you want them to be notified when they have 10% left.

There is a fix for the connector available at https://www.mailenable.com/beta. Otherwise disabling fast shutdown in Excel will resolve it.

Re: smtp outbound log
For any outbound sends you will see SMTP-OU. There is not an option to disable logging for either in/out. If you search the log file you should be able to find the SMTP-OU, as generally there is a lot more inbound than outbound.

Re: Mistakenly clicked on Spam Email button and all of my emails are gone!
It really depends on the option you have enabled under the Report as Spam for webmail. By default they go to:
Mail Enable\Spam
But check the "Spam" option under the Webmail settings in the admin program to see what option you have configured.

At what point does it fail? Does it get to the point of asking whether it can configure using another certificate? It may be best to log a support ticket since we'd need to know the domain involved.

Re: Mailenable Enterprise Post Office Filter Missing General File
It means you don't have a word list for the postoffice. Make a text file for the word list and save it under Mail Enable\Config\Postoffices\[postoffice]\rules It has to be called: MEFILTER-something.txt Where "something" is just any text you want to use to identify it. It will then show up in the ad...

If you delete the registry branch and the Config directory, then basically all the configuration is lost. What previous configuration is it finding? You can check the following article which describes how to remove everything if the uninstall is not working for you: https://www.mailenable.com/kb/con...

Re: 5.7.0 STARTTLS is mandatory
Yes, under the SMTP options in the admin program under the Outbound tab there is a checkbox labelled "Send using TLS if remote server supports it". This should be enabled. It is enabled by default on a new installation. It is possible that if you are relaying through another SMTP service though that...

Re: Error in SMTP Relay while using release 10.45
You need to either authenticate with the email client or your IP address needs to be able to relay. Check the rest of the log for the connection to see it it tries to authenticate. Or if you are allowing the IP to relay without authentication check the SMTP Debug log at the time to see why it is not...

Hi, The installer will try to add to the hosts file to have mewebmail.localhosthost and meadmin.localhost work. Are you installing the application as administrator? The installation should still continue and you can add the following to the hosts file, although not essential: 127.0.0.1 mewebmail.loc...

Re: Problems disabling TLS 1.0
Hi, The OCBD driver does the connection to the database. You need to make sure both your SQL Server version supports TLS 1.2 and that you have the ODBC driver that matches. Check the following article to ensure your SLQ Server is able to do this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb3135244-t...

Re: Restrict authentication to only a few ips
Sorry, there is not a way to allow only certain IPs to authenticate. Our IP restriction is for connecting. But you can adjust the number of times an attempt is made for the abuse detection. Please see:

Re: Port SMTP allow authentication
Hi, Yes, you can disable authentication on port 25. Under the Port Settings in the admin program under the SMTP settings, set the drop down to "Never allow authentication". It will still accept email, but authentication will not be permitted - users would need to use another port for authentication....
