Re: Version 11
I get it. The revenue doesn't support a staff. What they need is marketing people. ME is not a bad product, just needs to be kept up to date to compete with the competitors. I am sure the development team is extinct now seeing the course of updates and features. I will be taking another look at Exch...

Re: Version 11
Depends on # of clients/users. I have under 50. Email revenue from all of them is about $1K/year. SM doesn't make sense. Lose money.

Re: Version 11
I think it is SM pricing that made me move, charging an annual fee for their addons and MAPI. SM is very overpriced would cost me over $1500 a year to get the features I would need. And no, in this case I don't think you get what you pay for.

Re: Version 11
I had issues with SM support. Too long ago to remember the issue, but they refused to fix it and was rather condescending, if I remember, as well. Think it had something to do with the direction they were taking with cloud based services.

Re: Typing to use MAPI for first time - Inbox doesn't populate, Sync isn't working
MAPI has been very buggy for my users. Especially for user with large mailboxes. I have one user with an 11GB mailbox and MAPI just sits there spinning. IMAP is slow, but I have no choice, at least it works for these users.

Re: CRITICAL issue with forwarding (Bug)
This fix did NOT work for me. I just reverted back to 10.42 and all is working again. There is nothing I need in 10.43 anyways. Just shows how limited ME support is. Introducing a serious bug like this is not acceptable. This just fuels the fire with switching email servers when my support renewal c...

Re: Webmail forward not working in 10.43
I copied the files to the correct folder and still get the Server runtime error. I have reverted back to 10.42 Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed...

Re: Version 11
I tend to agree with the users cry for more Exchange like email. I have used MagicSpam for one year, then discontinued it because of the lack of saving rejected emails into a 'special' inbox. Once it is gone, it's gone using MagicSpam. MXspam, although looked promising, is a discontinued product and...

Unless ME can prove to me that support is improving. I will be gone by end of Jan when my support contract is up for renewal.

Re: Version 11
I came from SM. Used it for 3 years then gave up on it. I think I will look at Mdaemon and hMailServer when my support subscription expires. One minor update a year is not what I call good support. I think there is only one person running Mailenable these days.

Re: ME 10.32 vs. Country Authentication Restrictions
I use OPNsense firewall, so what I did was restrict ports 465 and 993 to US only IP's using GeoIP_lite. Seems to work so far

Re: Blocking Port 25 / Only Using Port 587?
But, what if I want to block port 25 from outgoing mail? Lots of attempts here to try to send email via port 25 from spoofed users. All my users are set to send via SSL port 465. I do not want any one to send mail via port 25.
